SAN DIEGO —
San Diego police are investigating after a man was shot in his hip in the Fox Canyon neighborhood Saturday evening, a police officer said.
The shooting was reported just before 7:40 p.m. on Sterling Court, off Altadena Avenue, Officer Robert Heims said. The person was taken to a hospital.
Heims said officers had detained someone, but it was unclear if the person might be linked to the shooting.
No further information was immediately available.
